All CRHS students have the opportunity to earn a Community Service Cord for Graduation! The basics of the Raiders in Action program are outlined below, and additional information can be found on the Raiders in Action website, HERE.
To earn a Community Service Cord, a student must complete a total of at least 80 service hours. These hours can be completed at any point during the student's high school career; there is no minimum or maximum number of hours per year.
To participate in Raiders in Action, students must:
Read the RiA Guidelines
Review and sign the RiA Contract, along with a parent/guardian
Complete and submit a community service log (Verification Form)
All of these documents can be found on the Raiders in Action website: HERE
Verification forms should be submitted by email to RaidersinAction@CedarRidgePTSA.org. Seniors must have all their hours submitted by Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
Even if a student's volunteer hours do not qualify for Raiders in Action, this time is still valuable and worth recording! Students should keep a personal record of all volunteer and community service work, as this information is often requested on post-high-school applications (job/workforce, military, trade school, junior college, university, etc.).
If you have any questions about the Raiders in Action program, please do not hesitate to reach out to our RiA Chair, Suzanne Neumann (RaidersinAction@CedarRidgePTSA.org), and/or PTSA President, Rachael Jones (President@CedarRidgePTSA.org).
Freshman: Class of 2029
Your volunteer hours begin June 1, 2025
Download and fill out your forms from the RiA Page on this website: Raiders in Action
