Help Us Stock the Teacher and Staff Breakrooms!
Let's make sure our amazing teachers and staff are fueled and ready to make a difference every day. We’re asking for your help to stock all 6 breakrooms with snacks, beverages (soda, seltzer, coffee), fruit, and other treats to keep energy high.
Seniors: Please remember that all Raiders in Action hours are due by 11:59pm on March 31. The names of students who have logged 80 hours or more by this deadline will be turned in to the school on April 1 for processing. These students will receive a community service cord that can be worn at graduation.
Rule Change: We will once again be allowing exceptions to our rule, found in the Raiders in Action Contract, that states, "Fundraising efforts that benefit community organizations or programs qualify for service hours. However, fundraising activities that directly benefit you or an organization you belong to will not qualify."
If your service through a school or nonprofit group serves the community, then the hours can be considered for approval even if your group receives money. You, as an individual, may not receive money or compensation for the hours to be eligible. These activities also cannot be required by your group - participation must be voluntary. These hours will be accepted on a case by case basis. Donating items for a fundraiser will also not be eligible. One example of an eligible activity is a middle school workshop where students are volunteering their time in the community with younger students, but any funds collected go to the general group and not the students' accounts.
If you would like to know in advance if your activity is eligible, please send an email to raidersinaction@cedarridgeptsa.org.
This exception to the rule is now in effect and can also retroactively apply to the 2025-26 school year. If you submitted hours during this school year that were denied, please send an email to raidersinaction@cedarridgeptsa.org to have your form reviewed. We keep all submitted forms on file. If you did not get your form signed because you knew the hours were not eligible, you can print out a new form and speak to the activity's sponsor who will hopefully be able to validate your hours with a signature. The photo requirement will be waived for these submissions. Please submit all new forms through the Google Submission Form on our Raiders in Action Website.
Again, if you have any questions or need clarification about the rule exception or senior hours, please send an email to raidersinaction@cedarridgeptsa.org.
Thank you, Raiders, for your service to our community!! You are making a difference!
Reflections 2026-2027
We are excited to announce the 2026–2027 National PTA Reflections program!
This year's theme is "What My Culture Means to Me."
District Submission Deadline: November 18, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
All entries must be submitted electronically.
This program is for students of all grades and their parents and caregivers.
National PTA has a long-standing commitment to arts education. For over 50 years, Reflections has helped students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning. The Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boosts student confidence and success in the arts and in life.
Each year, hundreds of thousands of students in pre-K through grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-created theme. Students submit in one or more of the available arts categories and, based on grade and/or support needs, participate in one of the program divisions.
Register Your Participation
Registration for the 2026-2027 PTA Reflections program is now open! Let National PTA know you are participating to help us show the wide reach and impact of Reflections.
